Mid Herts League, established in 1968, is a community-focused grassroots league looking to provide our children, coaches and referees with the best possible start in football.

The League seeks to put the welfare and enjoyment of our young participants first. We want our children to play with freedom in a safe and calm environment which allows them to make, and learn, from their own mistakes.

Our rules are child centred and focus on the long term learning experience. They draw on SCORY and FA rules and guidance to ensure consistency and fairness and have proved popular with players, supporters and clubs.

We aim to promote best practice and support clubs in efforts to educate coaches and parents in the FA’s vision for children’s football. We fully embrace the FA Respect Campaign, with codes of conduct recognising that positive behaviour makes for a great game.
