Dear Member Clubs,

Further to my previous emails can you please return your club intentions forms ASAP please.

Please do not leave it until the last minute.

If your Club is not returning to our League next season please let us know so that we can remove you from our email group.

League Update 27.04.2017

Dear Member Clubs,

Divisional Cup Finals

For all those attending the Divisional Cup Finals at The Hive on the 6th and 7th of May, the League would like to wish all players and Managers good luck.

Can you please let me know ASAP if your team is planning to arrive by coach, as this needs to be arranged beforehand with The Hive. There will be a £5.00 charge for each coach and this will be collected on entry, so please have this ready to avoid any delay.

There will be a £2.00 car park charge which will be collected on exit, so please have your change to hand to avoid delay.

Programmes will be provided for each team on the day.

I must remind all Managers of the number of subs allowed, please do not turn up with more players and expect them to play as this is not allowed and the only person this effects is the player.

U9 – U10       3 Subs

U11 – U18      5 Subs

Can I also remind you that if their is a kit clash then it is the away them that needs to change kit.

The Players will have the use of changing rooms however, they will not be allowed to leave their belongings in the changing room.

The Management Committee at The Hive have asked that we remind you that picnics are prohibited at The Hive and refreshments will be available to purchase on both days.

If you are planning to have your final videoed can you please contact me as permission needs to be granted for external companies to video at The Hive.

Can the Manager please report to The Committee gazebo (which will be situated by the pitches after the main building) to register your team and collect programmes whereupon you will then receive further instructions.

League Update 28.03.2017

Dear Member Clubs,

Following the lengthy SGM last Thursday (23rd March) in which Member Clubs took the decision and voted to remove the Club Pro Direct from our Constitution.

It is with much regret that I must advise Member Clubs, that we have been advised that Pro Direct have lodged and Appeal against the decision and, as such, the League have been instructed that Pro Direct must be reinstated to the Constitution with immediate effect, pending the outcome of the Appeal Hearing.

The League appreciates that Member Clubs may be frustrated by this action, however we as a League, have no option but to comply.

League Matches will be reinstated to be played if previously postponed.

For postponed Cup Matches these will reinstated to play at the earliest opportunity. The League will be in touch shortly with those teams affected.

League Update 16.03.17

Dear Member Clubs,

There is to be a Mid Herts Rural Minors League Special General Meeting on Thursday the 23rd of March 2017, at The Shamrock Club, Ridgeway, Welwyn Garden City,  AL7 2AD, at 8.00 pm. The small bar will be open from 7.30pm for beverages.
 
This SGM is being called to take a vote under Rule 17 (A) to exclude a Member Club from the League’s Constitution due to several and continued breaches of the League Rules this Season.
 
Club Secretaries are reminded that if there are unable to attend, a representative from the Club must attend instead, failure to attend will result in a fine of £50.00, all clubs must attend.
                                                     
Each Full Member Club shall be empowered to send two delegates to all meetings.  Each Club shall be entitled to one vote only.

Our General Meeting will follow straight after the SGM on Thursday the 23rd of March 2017 and the Agenda is attached together with the minutes from our previous meeting and up to date accounts.
 
Attached is also the list of Trophies that need to be returned at this meeting.

League Update 20.02.17

Dear Member Clubs,

Registrations

We would like to remind you that the window closes at midnight on Tuesday the 28th of February for any new registrations or transfers for this Season.

Anything received after this time will be NOT be processed.

Please ensure that all your Managers/Coaches are aware of this League Rule.

Result Cards

Again, I need to remind Clubs that you must record any cautions you receive on your result card otherwise it will be deemed that you have not completed the result card correctly which could result in a fine being issued.

Cup Finals

As in previous years, the winning finalists will be required to submit a team photograph for the Programme for the Final. This must be in jpeg format.

With this in mind and given that there is an extremely tight time frame, not to mention school holidays, it would be helpful if could you arrange to have a team photograph taken as soon as you know your team has reached the Final. The winning team will also receive a template to complete that will need to to be returned with the photograph when requested.

Dates and times are being finalised and we hope to get Mitoo updated shortly.

Easter

There will be no fixtures on Easter Weekend the 15th and 16th of April.

Mini Soccer and 9 v 9

The last fixtures for Mini Soccer and 9 v 9 for this season will be on the 29th and 30th of April.

League Meeting

I would remind you that the next League Meeting is on Thursday 23rd of March when you be required to return any trophies engraved that were won at our League Cup and League Shield Finals and any Shields that were presented at the League Presentation Day last June.

Presentation Day

We would remind you that the Presentation Day is Sunday 4th of June 2017 at Broxbourne Civic Hall where all winners and runners up for the U13 upwards are expected to attend. If you do not attend, the League will NOT be providing trophies. This is a very special occasion for the League and a special day for those that have won or come runners up.

There will also be Sportsmanship Awards from U9 upwards that will be awarded based on the marks that other Clubs and Referees have given during the season.
