League Update: 27:06:18 – Constitution Appeals Reminder

Dear Member Clubs,
 
Just a reminder to all clubs that any appeals regarding the draft constitution MUST be received by 6pm this Sunday 1/7/18.

Anything received after this cut off will be disregarded.

All appeals with supporting reasons must be sent to admin@midherts.com

League Update: 24:06:18 – Draft Constitution

Dear Member Clubs,

Please find attached a copy of the Draft Constitution for the 2018-2019 season for the Mid Herts Rural Minors League.

If Clubs have any queries or wish to Appeal against where teams have been placed, can they please email  admin@midherts.com.  All correspondence must be in writing and via the Club Secretary.

Appeals

The deadline for lodging any Appeals is Sunday 1st July 2018.  No Appeals received after this date will be considered.

The Appeals Committee will be Mick Hickford (General Secretary) Christine Lovell (Treasurer), Carole Marshall and Maxine Carter.  The Final Constitution will be set by 8th July 2018.

There are many age groups where there is a different number of Divisions than previous years.  Therefore, when looking at where your teams are placed, please take this into consideration and assess the teams you are
grouped with, not the name of the Division.

In respect of non-published age groups U7-U12:-

*         The Management Committee will move teams as the season progresses to ensure teams are in an appropriate Division for their standard, and if necessary, after looking at results, will make changes.

*         Please only appeal if you believe your team has been placed in completely the wrong Division (i.e. more than two divisions adrift) and you have clear justification to support this;

*         Many of the non-published teams have stated they are development or completely new teams, so it would be impossible to get these correctly placed from the outset.  Please bear with us on this.

In respect of published age groups U13-U18:-

All teams will be closely monitored by their Fixtures Secretary throughout September and early October and if there is clear evidence of an incorrect Divisional placing, those teams will be moved into a more appropriate
Division.

Can I ask Club Secretaries to check the Constitution to ensure that we have
the correct full teams’ names listed.  Please note that those teams listed with the League, must be the same as those registered with the County FA to which they are affiliated.

Any amendments/discrepancies with team names should be notified to  admin@midherts.com  by no later than 8th July 2018.

League Update 15.06.2018

Dear Member Clubs,

We would remind you that the AGM is on Thursday the 21st of June 2018 commencing at 8.00 pm at The Shamrock Club.

Clubs are reminded that they may send only two delegates to the AGM on Thursday 21st of June. Each Club shall be entitled to one vote.

When clubs arrive, can they ensure they sign in and please hand in the Final Club Entry Form and payment to the Committee.  If you are paying by BACS you can email your club entry form prior to the AGM to save queueing to hand in on the night.

  • AGM Agenda for 21st June 2018
  • Copy of the Minutes from the 23rd June 2017 AGM
  • Final Club Entry Form for 2018-2019 which needs to be handed in with payment at the AGM, please note cash will not be accepted on the evening.  If paying by BACS, please make payment by Wednesday 20th
  • A copy of the MHRML Accounts as at 31st May 2018.  The Accounts have be verified and signed off by an independent Chartered Certified Accountant.  Any queries should be addressed to the treasurer@midherts.com
  • Election of Officers and Committee members for next season.
  • The Approved Rules for 2018-2019 together with Appendices, please note there were no proposed Rules changes by Member Clubs.  The format has been changed to bring them in line with SCORY.

Also attached is a Finance Report which has been produced on the League Finances for 2016-2017 and as advised by Hertfordshire FA we are circulating to Member Clubs.

League Update 23.05.18

Dear Member Clubs,

Thank you to those Clubs who have returned their Intentions Forms.  Preparations are well under way for next season.

We are still looking for Fixtures Secretaries, so if you or any member of your Club has some spare capacity, is PC literate and competent, please get in touch.

Presentation Day

Invitations have gone out to all Division winners and Runners-up.  Please note that unfortunately we are not in a position to provide trophies for those teams that do not attend Presentation Day.

We would remind you again, that there is no Golden Boot Award, this was notified to you at the start of the season.

Please find attached the MHRML Privacy Policy and the MHRML Data Protection Policy, both of which will be placed on the League website.

Intentions : 16.05.2018

Dear Member Clubs,

Further to previous emails, I would remind you that the cut off for Intentions for 2018/2019 is Monday 21st May 2018.

If your Club is not returning to our League next season please advise so that we can remove you from the email group.

Please give this matter your earliest attention.
